While filming a documentary about paranormal investigations, I caught this small little clip. For the record, I'm a skeptic. I don't believe in ghosts and I don't believe in orbs. I don't think was a bug; more likely debris falling from the ceiling. I didn't see it originally, only caught upon editing. Close call while filming our current documentary in the dark. The camera snapped off of the tripod and I was lucky enough to catch it (in pitch dark).

In 1980 they only had two lanes at the bowling alley that I remember.
I was there in 1980 on a 9 month deployment From Norfolk VA through the medeterian sea stopped in Alexandria Egypt saw the pyramids of Giza went through the Suez Canal on our way there for the Summer on the way back to Norfolk we had stopped in Athen's, Greece & Rota, Spain on our way back to the USofA interesting year working on the ship in the harbor and in those days we took a boat from the ship to the island for liberty whenever we we given liberty.

It's modified for a BJJ tournament. Even if it's an Ippon throw, that doesn't end the match in a Jiu Jitsu tournament; it's only the beginning.

He's doing it like it's a ko soto gake with ouchi gari or inside trip you're supposed to turn into your opponent I can't understand how getting into a position where you are much more likely to get countered and less likely to score would be beneficial to a bjj match
@@doritodip8410 Traditional Osoto Gari will more times than not put you in a serious disadvantageous position at the completion of the throw; typically in Uke's guard. Bad spot to be in, in a BJJ tournament.
@@MadSissProductions ye inside trip or ouchi gari will land in guard but the way it's being done here will get you countered the leverage just isn't there it may work on someone who has no clue what there doing in the stand up but against someone with just a lil bit of standing experience you'll be countered and end up under half guard or side control if landing in guard is what your worried about maybe do a different takedown

I spent 2.5 years on DG to get the new water plant up & running & to improve the entire water system. I was was at the DG Idol performance in this vid. Good times!

I was there TAD for 9 days, including Christmas, while trying to catch up to my ship in '85. We'd do a little work in the morning and then rent a boat and fish in the afternoons. It's a beautiful place. Came back with the ship just after the first of the year. The highlight (or lowlight) of the port visit was when one of our shipmates stole the base ambulance.

I was stationed there for 3 months with CTF-57 until they closed shop and moved to Bahrain. Spent 11 months in Bahrain. Had a blast in Diego. Still miss the fishing and cannon point cookouts.

I was stationed there for a year back in 1994 working for NSF as a QE inspector. Other then it being isolated duty, it was a good duty station. Worked with some great guys, I only wish that we could have stayed in touch.

I am Authorized to travel across Diego Garcia. I do visit once a year. It's a beautiful experience but there are few factors that I wouldn't like to discuss until am old.
